I’ve written, directed, and produced over 20 YouTube documentaries on subjects from the physics of bowling to the science of neural networks, together receiving over 200 million views.

I majored in astrophysics at Columbia University while constantly writing stories on the side. In 2021, I became an AAAS Mass Media Fellow, producing radio segments for Science Friday. Soon after, I joined the Veritasium YouTube channel as its second employee, spearheading videos from ideation to publish. In my three years there, we near-doubled our subscriber count from 8 to 15 million.

My goal is to illuminate things we already recognize, but never truly understood. Like how I learned the word melancholy in 4th grade, but didn’t get it until I read The Little Prince in 7th. Or how I use LEDs every day, but never knew how they worked until I made a video on them. I grasped the concept of fate only after seeing Kung Fu Panda…

I’m always looking for new familiarities to shed light on, from a universal scientific principle to the subtlest human moment. My guiding principle is good faith — in both your viewers and your team.

Based in NYC. Open to work on music videos, commercials, & YouTube videos.
